UGC - Club Championships
UGC held their annual Club Championships tournament and what a thrilling weekend it was with just a point difference between the champions and the runner ups.
Here are the winners: A Division: Champion: Dean Naicker (pictured) – 149 gross Runner up: Viv Naicker – 150 gross
B Division: Champion: Raymond Ntobela (Pictured) – 160 gross Runner up: Barrie Taylor – 161 gross
C Division: Champion: Bing Opie (Pictured) – 189 gross Runner up: Keith Vergottini – 190 gross
Ladies Silver Division: Champion: Sabiha Bacaus (Pictured) – 169 gross Runner up: Natalie Singer
Ladies Bronze Division: Champion: Lesa Vergottini (Pictured) – 205 gross Runner up: Linda Toward
Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who participated in Club Champs 2018. A huge thank you to all those individuals who helped put this event together; it was nothing short of a success
Good luck to all those who will be playing in the matchplay this Saturday 21 April.
Our Individual Stableford Competition held on April 11 was won by Nelson Moonsamy with 35 points. Losing on the count out, coming in second place was Barrie Taylor with 35 points and in third place was Warren Taylor also losing out on the count out to his brother Barrie, with 35 points.
Towies Day is set for the May 1. This will be a huge sponsored golf day so don’t miss out on the fun. Tee off times start from 9.30am
Our Big Braai Nite will be taking place this Friday 20 April. Bring your family and friends, some meat, a picnic basket and join us on the course for an awesome time. Please note that no alcohol may be brought onto the property. The braai will take place after 6 Pin. There will be music and a kiddies jumping castle.
