Whether you're a seasoned golfer or new to the sport, you'll be hard-pressed to find a friendlier club to join. Umkomaas offers a simple membership application process and great options, especially for golfing families who'd like to enjoy the sport without hitting their pockets too hard.

Umkomaas is very keen to support the next generation of golfers and does not charge any membership fees, only the KZN handicap levies.

Our club prides itself on being fully inclusive and all members, whether male or female, young or old, are welcome to play any time. We hold weekly club competitions and various social golfing options, like Friday 6-pin and reduced-fee Sunday afternoons, as well as regular social events.

We have an active ladies section who not only participate in weekly club competitions but who compete in the local league and a variety of KZN tournaments, including the annual Inter Club.

Members get the added bonus of introducing their children/grandchildren to the game by enrolling them, free of charge, to our KidzGolf programme. 

​

In addition to our active local members, Umkomaas also welcomes upcountry members who're looking for a cost-effective option to acquire a handicap.
