UGC - Medal Weekend
It was golf all around as our UGC members represented the club all over KZN, playing their hearts out.
Our Allerton League travelled to Papwa this weekend and played against Ethekwini Club. Unfortunately the guys lost 5 – 7 but still enjoyed their game.
Our ladies Sabiha Bacaus and Natalie Singer competed in the Midlands Champs in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday 8 April and played exceptionally well. Both ladies shot a 168 gross score, the second best score in the Silver Division, with Sabiha winning on the count out, claiming second prize. Awesome stuff ladies.
Following up on our weekly results, the winner of our Individual Stableford competition, held on Wednesday 4 April, was Garth Wilyman with a nett score of 40. Derek Airey took second place with 39 points and losing on the count out, coming in third place was Wally Kent also with 39 points.
Our Halfway Toyota Monthly Mug winner, held on Saturday 7 April, was Tash Naicker with a nett score of 64. Our Division results are as follows:
A Division: First Place: Patrick Ndlovu – nett score of 69 Second Place: Dave Mulroy – nett score of 71
B Division: First Place: Tash Naicker – nett score of 64 Second Place: Jacques Hulley – nett score of 71
C Division: First Place: Eric Morsner – nett score of 70 Second Place: Simon VD Bosch – nett score of 75
Ladies Division: Winner: Sabiha Bacaus – nett score of 72 Our Jackpot winner was Tash Naicker with 10 points

Towies Day is set for the May 1. This will be a huge sponsored golf day so don’t miss out on the fun. A poster and more information will follow soon.
Our Big Braai Nite, will be taking place on Friday 20 April. Bring your family and friends, some meat and maybe even a picnic blanket and join us on the course for an awesome time. Please note that no alcohol may be brought onto the property. The braai will take place after 6 Pin.
